Oh ! If you have a model with multi-layer transpareny in one trishape.
Just like what my last picture shows, the transparent trangles rendered "in correct order", no annoyed transparency error happened.
Try this with the plugin on and off and you'll find the difference. : )

Ah, so it solves the self occlusion issue from stacked 4845 layers.

I definitely see this being very useful to other people, seeing how almost all the modders I know use 4845 for transparency.

However, I don't usually use 4845 tr flag since it's way too problematic; self occlusion, glitched shadow mask, fast approximation blend mode, just to name a few.

The 4845 blending mode is way too forgiving, and ignores many fine details in the alpha layer.

I usually pick the transparency method based on the material/mask of the mesh. 4109/4335/5121/5125/5149/etc...


i.e. Hair created using 5121 tr to minimize the loss of finer details:

With 4845, almost all the details are lost:





The dress in question is created using 5133 with implicit shadow mask, so I guess that's why I couldn't see any difference.

Yeah, there won't be any difference if the "Destination Blend Mode" is "One".

"The 4845 blending mode is way too forgiving, and ignores many fine details in the alpha layer. "
Use Lower treshold to solve it because nothing will happen if the pixel don't pass the alpha test. (In 4845, alpha > treshold, that's why I set it to 16)

As for shadow mask....It seem that Bethesda ignore the alpha value when processing shadow....
