This mod compiles a wide selection of hair and eyes for a more immersive customization experience.
This was once know as 'Comprehensive Style Collection', but major changes have occurred since then; the archive has become huge and errors have been fixed. I changed the name too because I wanted it to reflect the progress I made.
News
Since version 1.7 there is a new plugin structure based on a CCC.esm (containing all hair and eyes) and a dependent CCC.esp (adding them to the Vanilla races). The CCC.esm file is meant as a framework to easily make custom races and/or build your own cosmetic pack. It also features 3 different flying abilities, the possibility to toggle Night Vision by pressing the 'N' key, a playable Ayleid race, and the custom race fix for the game start and for the quest of Boetia. This system was eagerly wanted by Eleimishill who made all the scripting work. Please contact him if you need any help.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
This is my last update of this mod. I think the number of available hairs is more than satisfying, not to mention the eyes. I know that people always want new hairs but a compilation like this requires too much of maintenance and I don't feel like I want to reduce my modding experience to a hide & seek for the latest fashion hairstyle. Also I'm sick of replying dozens of comments which all look alike: my eyes look messed up... my hands are purple... my tail got stuck in my butt... ENOUGH!!! Before posting a comment take two minutes to read the file description and the other comments. Please understand... at the same time I wanna thank all the people who encouraged me and endorsed this file: thank you so much!!!

To install:
1. Download the main files.
2. Extract the files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
3. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside CCC.esm and CCC.esp (the latter if you want to activate my cosmetic pack).
Note. CCC.esm is mandatory. There are two CCC.esp files. Unless you want to make your own cosmetic mod (in which case you won't need them) you should activate either one, never both. Use CCC.esp - Robert Male if you have a male body replacer installed (and remember to deactivate any RobertMale.esp or AMB.esp - only the esp, not the meshes and textures) otherwise use CCC.esp - Vanilla.
To update:
1. Download update addons and fixes. For plugin, you'll need only latest one.
2. Delete files listed in the Installation.txt file if any.
3. Extract the archive to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\. 'yes' to overwrite confirmation.
Note. You cannot upgrade directly from CSC 1.5 to CCC 1.6. It is highly recommended to uninstall any previous version of CSC before installing CCC.
To uninstall:
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esm and .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.
- All meshes/textures for required MODs, like:
- Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\CCC
- Oblivion\Data\Textures\Characters\CCC
3. If you want to completely disable CCC or its modified plugin (to revert vanilla), you should delete every trace of CCC, even the replaced default eye textures/meshes.
By default Robert Male Body Replacer is supported, Humans, Elves and Orcs have eyelashes, Khajiit have whiskers and eyebrows, Bretons have freckles.
However you can download optional files that will change these features:
No eyelashes
Some people don't like how the eyelashes look. If you are one of them copy-paste this to Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\CCC\eyelashes and overwrite when asked.
No freckled Bretons
If you can't stand the sight of the freckles on your Bretons' faces copy-paste these files to Oblivion\Data\Textures\Characters\CCC\Breton and overwrite when asked.
No whiskers and eyebrows
If you don't like your Khajiit with wiskers and eyebrows copy-paste these files to Oblivion\Data\Meshes\Characters\CCC\Khajiit. Overwrite when asked.
My game crashes whenever I try to access the character creation screen
This may happen when your savegame relies on content from a cosmetic mod that is no longer available. All you need to do is restore default hair on your character (e.g. cropped hair). In order to do so use either:
- ShowRaceMenu Fix
- Oblivion Face exchange Lite
You can then load your game normally and customize your character as you wish.
Note. Oblivion Face Exchange Lite 1.4.1 doesn't work in Windows Vista and Windows 7; version 1.3.9 does work instead.
Eyes look messed up
Since CCC replaces default eye meshes to 'Elaborate Eyes' meshes, it can cause eye problem with any eye addons that use different eye meshes (vanilla meshes or Ren's).
It's been reported that, in certain cases, moving CCC at the end of your load order may workaround this problem.
I came across at least one orc with something weird going on with his mouth
If you are using Tamriel NPCs Revamped some orcs may show distorted teeth. This probably depends on how merged teeth were conformulated along with over-tweaked faces. There's no way to fix this but it's a minor bug I'm sure you can live with.
RVG eyes glow and I don't like it
By default, most of ravege's eyes are glowing. If you hate glowing eyes, use replacement glow map under \alternateglow\.

Do I have to start a new game to customize my character's appearance?
No, you can do it anytime throughout the game:
1) Open the console by pressing the tilde (~) key. It's left of the 1 key, below the Esc key, and above the Tab key.
2) Type 'showracemenu' and press Enter.
3) Edit your character.
4) When you're done, don't click the Done button (this would reset your player stats!!!). Instead, press Esc to bring up the menu and Save into a new (recommended) or existing slot.
5) Load your save and check that your player stats are still the same.
Does this work with custom races?
No, this may not work with any default race changing mods (mostly). Of course, it may not be compatible with any other cosmetic mods. This is not for Better Redguards, MMM and Might Magick.
In certain cases, moving CCC after the custom races in the load order may solve incompatibility issues.
If that doesn't help, and you really want to use this with custom races, you could try to merge the plugins together with TES4Gecko. Keep in mind that if you want to give your custom race CCC eyes, you'll need to assign the 'Elaborate Eyes' meshes to it either via Construction Set or by manually copying them from the Vanilla races in CCC to the custom race folder.
I want to create a new race that uses these eyes and hair!
Open CCC.esm in CS and save a new .esp file; this way you'll have all resources imported in your new file. Then search for CCCSampleAyleid race and duplicate it. Modify every aspect you want for your new race and then save your changes.
I want to create a new cosmetic pack that includes all these hair and eyes!
Open CCC.esm in CS and save a new .esp file; now you'll need some tools to transfer the eyes and hair to other races. Construction Set Extender is a good choice because it has a 'Copy Hair and Copy Eyes' button. Use it to copy hair and eyes from the CCCSampleAyleid race. For beast races (Khajiit and Argonians) you still have to copy all the entries manually. Another choice is TESsnip.
I'd love to see NPCs using these hairs and eyes, too!
At the moment we are not planning to add such a feature.
How do I add eyes to my plugin from given eye textures?
1) Open plugin with CS.
2) Open eye list. (Character->Eyes)
3) At the eye list window, click mouse right button on the list, select 'New'.
4) Enter New Editor ID, click 'OK'.
5) Give the new eye a name, and check 'Playable' if you want to make it playable eye.
6) Click on 'Add Image File' button, you'll see 'Select DDS File' dialog box.
7) Select eye texture you want, and make sure the eye texture is for your eye mesh.
8) If you want to add many eyes, repeat 3)-7) until it's finished.
9) Click 'OK' to close eye list window, then save your plugin.
How do I give eyes/hairs to races?
1) Open eye/hair list. (Character->Eyes, Character->Hair)
2) Also, Open race list(Character->Race), select any race you want, click 'Body Data' tab.
3) Now, you can see current eyes/hairs used by this race at Eye colors/Hair styles list.
4) Drag an eye or a hair, then drop it on eye color list or hair style list. Repeat this if you want to add many eyes or hairs to any races.
5) If you want faster edit, you can add any wanted eyes/hairs to just one race, save the plugin, then open it with any other esp editor that can copy/paste/delete subrecords (e.g TESsnip).
For each race, the eye list is stored in a subrecord 'ENAM', hair list is in 'HNAM'. You can copy&paste them from one race to other race, make adding eyes/hairs faster.
6) Save the plugin, test it in game if the plugin works correctly.
7) To delete eyes/hairs from race body data, simply select eyes/hairs you want to remove, press 'Del' key.
How do I merge plugins with TES4Gecko?
1) Run TES4Gecko, click 'Merge Plugins'.
2) You will see list of plugins in current directory (by default, it will be 'your Oblivion directory'\data). Select a plugin you want to merge, then input merge priority (value is an integer greater than 0).
3) Repeat 2) until all plugins you want to merge are selected, then click 'OK'.
4) Enter new file name (default: Merged Plugin.esp) and description (default: follows priority 1 plugin).
5) Click 'OK'. If two or more plugins have conflicting Editor ID or something, TES4Gecko will warn you while merging.
